A French Olympic Pair Figure skater Morgan Cipres has accused of sexually abusing a 13-year-Old female American skater. According to the report after the allegations, the matter is investigated by the U.S Centre for SafeSport. The parents of the accused girl have claimed that Cipres Coach, John Zimmerman and a member of the U.S Figure Skating Hall of Fame and Silvia Fontana, a 2002 and 2006 Italian Olympian tried to shame and threatened the girl to keep the family from reporting the alleged incident to the Skating Authorities.
According to the allegations, Cipres then 26, along with his partner Vanessa James, was preparing for the 2018 Olympics in South Korea. Vinny Dispenza, coach at the Advent Health Centre Ice rink is also involved in the allegations who allegedly told the girl and another underage girl to request the pictures of the Cipres Penis in exchange for the promise of a pizza from Dispenza.
Cipres is accused of sending two pictures of his penis from his verified Instagram account to the victim on, 3rd Dec 2017. She also claimed that Cipres coaches Zimmerman and Fontana who are now married to each other, intimidated her for weeks, and told her that she is a pretty girl, adding that ‘men have their needs’. The girl also claimed that Dispenza threatened her by saying, if she ever said something about the incident, she would never skate again.
Dara Bushman, a psychiatrist who worked with the girl said to the news report, “ I did what I was bound to do ethically. I contacted the parents, authorities and wanted to make sure the child was safe”.
Cipres, when contacted on a phone on Monday, said “ I have nothing, nothing, nothing to say about anything that so I’m sorry, I cannot talk to you.
