The organizers have created a space – India corner at Games Village. The Indian menu includes North Indian and South Indian food.
While commenting on the hospitality, the Indian shooting pistol coach Ronak Pandit said
Everything is being well taken care of. The food and other facilities are good, very pleased with the Indian food corner here in the mess”

According to TOI, the Indians will enjoy the luxury of North Indian and South Indian food at the Tokyo Olympics. Check the complete menu provided to athletes at Olympic Games Village.
- On the menu are chole bhature, paratha, basmati and jasmine rice, biryani
- butter and plain naan (stuffed bread),
- butter chicken, tofu (soy paneer)
- tomato and shahi paneer
- bhindi, lentil curry
- steamed spinach and steamed sweet potatoes.
The first batch of the Indian contingent arrived in Tokyo on Saturday. The first batch involved 88 athletes from a total of 126 athletes who qualified for the Tokyo Olympics 2021. The Indian team will start their practice sessions in Tokyo on Monday (19th July 2021).
The Indian athletes have been assigned the 11th, 12th and 13th floor in the 15th Tower of Olympic Games Village. There are total 28 towers in the Olympic Village.
The Tokyo Olympics will open on 23rd July and will conclude on 8th August 2021. The games will open with an opening ceremony on the eve of 23rd July.
